Vacuum
I never thought I would get off on buying a vacuum but I have to admit that I did. I went to the store to buy one and was surprised by the selection. I do admit, some vacuums are much sexier looking then others.
The colour choices you have are endless. Do you go for the loud in your face red one or the sleek looking black one?
Are you into an upright vacuum or the kind that are low to the ground?
Once I decided on the style of vacuum I wanted, I got to take them for a test run in the store. I would suck up whatever was put on the rug and was then to decide which one I preferred.
It was pretty funny. The sales woman was really into showing me all the different gadgets on the machines and how each one of them worked.
I am not one who gets caught up in the bells and whistles on a vacuum.
Give me the basics that will do the job and I am happy.
I settled for a green vacuum. Not sure why. If I went back tomorrow maybe I would go for the bright yellow one.
I will admit that I would not want to go with out my vacuum. We have a dog that sheds a lot and I am constantly grabbing the vacuum and sucking up the dog hair.
I bought some rug deodorizer that I shake onto the rug before I get the vaccine out to take the dog smell away. It works for a little while, but before you know it the old dog smell is back.
A vacuum with a built in deodorizer in it would be helpful. Maybe there is one. I'll have to check it out next time I go vacuum shopping.
