Closets

Do you have skeletons in your closet? I guess we all do to some degree. Many closets are so organized you are afraid to touch anything in them. Other closets are so messy you are afraid to touch anything in them.

Closets serve a lot of purposes. First of all they hide the clutter in your house. You can throw it in the closet and be done with it. Out of sight out of mind.

Closets in the bedroom are usually kept pretty organized so that you can find what you want to wear in a hurry. You can have a closet system put in to have everything right at your finger tips. A rack for shoes, drawers for accessories, a high rack for your longer clothes and a lower rack for you pants.

Broom closets don't seem to be to popular anymore but the older homes seemed to always have one. Kind of a waste of space don't you think? A closet just to hold your broom?

Closets in the basement are kind of scary. They are the ones that hold all the stuff you hardly ever use. People who like to keep things just in case they may need it one day have a hard time finding enough closet space to hold their junk.

Closets in the hall are usually called linen closets. They hold your sheets, pillow cases, towels etc. Medicine closets are usually located in the bathroom. They hold toothpaste, tooth brushed, creams, shaving cream, make up and other personal stuff. Often we see someone in a movie peaking into the medicine closet in the washroom at someone else's house. I guess you can learn a lot about someone from their closet in the washroom.

I personally have nothing to hide. Anyone can look through my closets any time. I think they will be disappointed. No skeletons in my closet.

I like that saying. I wonder where it came from.
