Halloween Party
Halloween parties can get a little out of control. For some reason don't you find that when people get dressed up in a costume they become a little more "free" shall we say? I think they forget who they really are.
They hide behind their costumes and masks thinking others may not know who they are. They let themselves go.
Others find a Halloween party really difficult to get ready for. Some do not enjoy thinking up a costume and getting all dressed up to go to the party. They fell silly and uncomfortable in a costume.
Halloween parties for kids are lots of fun. You can have a witches brew for them to drink and let them bob for apples. Ofcoarse what the kids are really looking for is candy.
Pumpkins are something that can be done at a Halloween party. The most creative pumpkin wins a prize or extra candy. Some of the faces people create are fantastic. The have pieces of pumpkin skin sticking out the side for ears and out of the mouth for teeth. Some are cut into the shape of a ghost or cat with it's back arched instead of a face. Some are scary faces and some are funny faces. Whatever the design, they look great all lite up at a Halloween party.
Some Halloween parties will have a theme and others will be dress up in whatever you want. A movie theme is a fun one for a Halloween party. The Wizard of Oz or Grease makes for a fun party. Lots of wicked witches and scarecrows and flying monkeys for the Wizard of Oz. Lots of grease in the hair and tight black pants for Grease.
What ever the theme, it is amazing the effort that some people make to put their costume together.
Halloween parties only come once a year so maybe that is why they tend to be so much fun. Rock Horror Picture Show is a great movie to go to on Halloween before the party to get you in the mood.
