Halloween Costume
How much effort do you put into your Halloween costume?
Are you the type that really gets into it and comes up with the most original Halloween costume? Or are you the type that waits till the night of and throw some random costume together before you head out the door.
I hate Halloween costumes. Too much pressure, to much work. I would rather be myself. I know others feel differently. They like to really work hard on their costume. I guess if you enjoy that kind of creativity, it comes easy to you.
I am not that creative and really struggle to find a good idea and put the whole thing together. I kind of put it off. I procrastinate and then go into panic mode.
Some stores have amazing Halloween costumes. If you see something that you really like, you should grab it right away because the good Halloween costumes go fast. I know I have seen something, gone home to think about it, gone back to buy it, and it's gone. That's when panic sets in. Then what? You look like a loser and hate your costume.
Second hand stores can be the best place to shop for a Halloween costume. Hooker, pimp, disco, Diana Ross and the Supremes. They often have some great stuff tucked away that is perfect for a costume. A little imagination and your all set.
Halloween costumes for kids are so easy. What ever the theme or movie of the year is, the kids want a costume from it. You go into the department or drug store with you son or daughter, walk to the Halloween costume section, and your all set. Something will appeal to them. Princess, batman, elephant, ballerina or pirate. It's worth every penny. The kids are happy and Mummy is happy. No muss, no fuss. Now that's my kind of Halloween costume.
