Whether you play billiards in a bar or billiards in a basement, it is always best to play billiards when you are sober. Playing billiards when you are drunk can make you lose focus and play billiards very badly. Most billiards players are competitive so they always want to be the billiards champion and it is that type of billiards player that you should aim to be. If you want to get really good at billiards you are going to need to spend countless hours practicing and if that is the case, having a billiards table at home can be just the ticket.

Many people love billiards but others think it is a stupid collection of games. I would suggest that billiards is the thinking mans pool as billiards is slightly more cerebral a game that pool. Snooker is probably better than billiards and pool but that is not the point. The real point here is that billiards is a great game to play with friends, family on your own if you have no friends and live in a basement. Play billiards, you will love it.
