Floral Arrangement

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that the earth laughs in flowers. These colorful delights sprout generously from the ground-the earth gives us a gift every time we pick a flower to make a floral arrangement. Decorating the homestead with a floral arrangement or three is always a good idea-it spreads freshness through the air and adds color where none is to be found. To keep your floral arrangements alive, it is important to change their water often and help them avoid adverse environments (direct sunlight can sometimes be damaging!) A floral arrangement can be a gift before it is a decoration-lovers throughout the ages made or bought floral arrangements to offer their significant others as a sign of their everlasting commitment (or just to flirt.) Lovers prefer roses in their floral arrangements-these flowers have earned the right to be the ultimate representation of love, albeit in a cheesy yet lovely way.

The floral arrangement seems to be an iconic fixture present at many different stages of human life and rituals-weddings, burials, baptisms, etc; all these events have a different appropriate type of floral arrangement that goes with them. Many a floral arrangement will also include leaves and green plants so as to truly embrace the spectrum of color and offer a spectacle to the eye. Many offices, in fact, would vastly profit from a well built floral arrangement in their meeting rooms-calming tensions and reviving the otherwise stale air. Profit is not completely disconnected from the concept of a floral arrangement-they are present in most companies' lobbies and are sometimes sent to clients so as to woo them into business deals. In many occasions, a floral arrangement is the answer: consider them in your day to day and stop to smell the flowers!
