When it comes to buying a fireplace, you can't go wrong with an electric fireplace. Some people buy gas fireplaces and some have real fireplaces but there is something special about the warm, fake glow of an electric fireplace. Nothing can replace a real flame but the best of the fake heaters is an electric fireplace.
If you do buy an electric fireplace, it is important to pay your electricity bill on time. When you fail to pay an electricity bill, the electric company turns your electric off and this would render your electric fireplace utterly useless. Having an electric fireplace but no electricity is like having a TV but no cable connection: absolutely ridiculous. Most people who invest in an electric fireplace do pay their bill so if you are one such person, go ahead, treat yourself to a nice, new electric fireplace.
It may not be the most elegant fire in the world, but an electric fireplace serves a great purpose. Being cold can lead to all manner of health problems such as pneumonia, flu, colds and a general feeling of discomfort. Take away these immediate risks by buying an electric fireplace. An electric fireplace does not guarantee good health, but I certainly lessens your chances of shivering.
So let's recap what we know about the value of an electric fireplace. An electric fireplace keeps you warm, keeps your health good and looks suitably tacky. Who can deny the need to buy an electric fireplace? Not me, sir, not me.
