Office Chairs
The Office chair has been a symbol of status ever since the 19th century-it is an iconic symbol irreversibly attached to the hierarchies of the business world. When the rotating office chair was invented, higher ups in the order of business would often use a non-mobile office chair to distinguish themselves from their underlings. Size of one's office chair has always correlated with, in general, one's status within a company. Today's office chairs are designed to be ergonomically harmless to the body-embracing the contours of the human shape and supporting it effectively. It is important to have arm-rests on your office chair to provide adequate support for your arms which otherwise undergo a lot of stress while you work at your desk. Your office chair should be fully adjustable in all ways so as to stress your back and neck the least possible and allow you to work without discomfort. Even though most models these days claim to be ergonomic, it is useful to test out an office chair before buying it because the shape of the human body is so variable-what is right for one person may not be right for another.
Office chairs can come in a variety of different materials-from textile to the more expensive leather; they also come in a plethora of different colors, although black, brown and grey tend to be the most popular colors for an office chair. Make sure the cushions are generous but not overly thick-your office chair must be comfortable but not put you to sleep in front of your desk (watch out for your boss!) Many like their office chair to match the rest of the décor in their office space, including any other chairs, desks, and even wall colors. It is important to find a balance between aesthetic interests and functional interests. Once you find the right office chair, your back will thank you and your productivity will rise exponentially.
