Throw Pillows
What is a throw pillow? Are throw pillows the perfect sized pillows to throw at someone when you are mad or want to play?
How do we come up with these random names for things? Honey I am going shopping for some throw pillows. Wanna come?
Maybe you are supposed to just throw the throw pillows on the couch or chair when you bring them home from the store.
What ever we do with our throw pillows, I think it is a stupid name.
How about a throw blanket or throw rug. Actually I think there is such a thing as a throw rug.
So does the throw rug fall into the same category as the throw pillow? I think a throw rug is a small rug that you just kind of throw anywhere on the floor.
So…perhaps a throw pillow is the kind of pillow that you can just throw anywhere.
On the couch, the love seat, the leather sofa, the wing chair, the floor. Throw that throw pillow.
I wonder if there is a throw pillow section in the pillow area of the store. I can't imagine
if there is, that it is very big. I can't say I have ever gone into a store to buy a throw pillow. I actually don't think I own a throw pillow.
You know when you go into someone's house and there are 6 or 7 random pillows tossed or thrown on the couch. Or maybe there are a few pillows on the floor and you say, where do you want me to put the pillows and they say, oh just throw them on the couch.
So now that I think about it, I guess I get why they might be called throw pillows.
