Pillows
Pillow talk. Now I've got your attention. Not that kind of pillow talk., I mean pillows that we sleep on, pillows that we put on the couch to look nice, pillows that we throw on the floor and sit on to watch TV. Those kinds of pillows.
Pillows can really add a lift to a room. Some people paint their walls a neutral shade, get basic coloured furniture and then buy these wild coloured pillows to add punch to their rooms. It really works. It can change a boring lifeless room into something cheery and bright.
Pillows come in all shapes, sizes, fabrics and colours. There are round pillows, square pillows, rectangular pillows, long rolled pillows and tiny little pillows There are hugh big square pillows that you leave on the floor and use in place of a chair kind of pillows. There are sophisticated pillows that are made of beautiful silk, or leather or some type of animal print. Those are the kind of pillows you don't want to throw on the floor and sit on.
Some people go crazy with pillows. They buy pillows for their bed to sleep on and prop them up on the headboard in the morning when they make their bed. Then they have 2 or 3 smaller pillows in front of that to match their linen, and then a smaller pillow resting on those with a message on it. It might say "sleep tight".
Often pillows have messages printed or sewn on them.
A little girl's room night have a pretty pink pillow in it with the word princess embroidered on the pillow in pink. Some pillows have been made be people who like to do needle point and make something special to cover a pillow with.
Pillows travel often with people. It seems we get quite attached to our pillows. Once you get a good one, you don't want to be without it. I must admit, there is nothing worse then a bad pillow.
