Mattresses
A good mattress will help you sleep better, wake refreshed and feel rested. Mattresses offer continuous support. A mattress can form to your body. Support never felt so good. How good does that sound?
There are many different mattresses to choose from. The are firm support mattresses, medium support mattresses and soft support mattresses. Mattresses come in twin, full, queen and king sizes. Some mattresses are allergy resistant or fire resistant.
A good night's sleep has a lot to do with your mattress, A lousy mattress can be the route cause of a really bad nights sleep. Mattresses that are to firm feel like you are sleeping on a block of cement. Mattresses that are really soft can leave you feeing sore all over. A lumpy mattress won't let you get comfortable at all.
When we are away somewhere we can have a great night's sleep or a horrible night's sleep. Often that is because of the mattress we've slept on. If you are at a cottage and you sleep in the "original" beds, the old mattresses can be brutal. If it has been there a long time it is probable really soft and sinks in the middle. It may even smell a little musty... That old cottage smell.
When staying at a spa you may have the best night's sleep you've ever had. The spa often promotes their heavenly mattresses. They tell you that their mattresses cradle your body, allowing you to sleep like a baby.
If you are staying in a hotel room and there are two beds in the room do you test out both beds to see which mattress is most comfortable? Do you jump on the mattresses like you used to do when you were a kid? I sometimes do.
I guess we have come a long way with mattresses. A mattress made of straw doesn't make for the best nights sleep I wouldn't think. How about the princess and the pea who couldn't get her beauty rest because there was a pea under her mattress.
Maybe its time to get a new mattress. We can all us a little "long lasting comfort" in our lives.
