Down Pillows

Do you prefer a down pillow or a foam pillow? Pillows are a very personal thing. Once you get use to a certain type of pillow, you don't want to give it up.

Are you a pillow lover? Do you have 6 down pillows on your bed? Do you love to get into bed and fluff up the pillows and watch TV? I do but I don't have 6 pillows on my bed.

I wouldn't want to ever give up my down duvet. It is so cozy and warm. On the other hand, I do not like to sleep on a down pillow. In fact, I can't sleep on a down pillow. For me, it is to soft and not enough support. For others, it's the perfect pillow with the perfect support.

I think there may be an allergy issue for some when it comes to down pillows. I am fortune enough not to have an allergy to down. I guess if you do it is not the end of the world. There are some great pillows that are really comfortable that are allergy free. There are also some great duvets that are not filled with feathers.

I have a bad neck so I did buy one of those pillows with a roll at the front that supports your neck. It took some getting used to but really helped support my neck and I did feel better when I woke up in the morning.

My husband tried to sleep on it and didn't last 10 minutes. He thinks I am crazy. That's okay, I can't sleep on his down pillow.

I am one of those people who takes their pillow with them when they go away for the weekend? It really does make a difference. I like my sleep.

Next time you are pillow shopping check out the down pillows. Ask the sales person why a down pillow is a good choice? If you don't sleep on one now, you may end up buying one the next time you are pillow shopping.
