Shower Curtain

Shower curtains that are see thru can be kind of sexy. You can't really see thru them perfectly but you can see the outline of the person and see them moving. I like the privacy of a shower curtain that you can't see thru. I guess I am kind of shy. In bigger houses where there are 3 or 4 washrooms with showers, you need to pick the right shower curtain to match the décor in that particular room.

For a kid bathroom you can have fun with animal prints, cartoon characters, geometric shapes and fun prints. In a teenagers washroom you might pick a shower curtain that is funky or modern. Bold colours that really pick up the colours on the walls or tiles. Some people will decorate with a bold colour on the wall and then pick a subdued colour for the shower curtain. Some shower curtains don't need liners. They are not the kind that are made out of material. You can just hang them up without a liner and you're good to go.

Some people buy shower curtains and make curtains out of them. If they see a nice fabric that matches a room they are looking for curtain for, they buy 2 shower curtains and sew them to hang as curtains. Your really wouldn't know they were once shower curtains.

I haven taken an older shower curtain and cut the end off it that had the holes to hang it up and use it on our outdoor table as a table cloth. It looks great and saved me from buying a table cloth.

Some showers have a door built on the edge of the tub that slides along to open and shut. No shower curtain required. Other showers are big all to ceiling glass walls and a glass door so you won't need to worry about a shower curtain for this type of shower either.

I often make sure the shower curtain liner is tucked in the tub. Don't forget to tuck your shower curtain against the wall to ensure the water doesn't spray out the side. It's kind of annoying when you get out and find puddles of water on the floor.
