Basement
Some homes have a basement. Some homes do not have a basement. If you live in a house with a basement, I can almost guarantee that your basement is at the bottom of your house. If your basement is at the top of your house, it is actually an attic or loft, so stop calling it a basement. So back to the point. Your basement is a precious jewel in your home and should be utilized not ignored. Those who do not have a basement would love one but too many with a basement do not use it.
There are many things you can use your basement for. A basement can be a sanctuary where you can go when you argue with your housemate when he eats all your food; you can turn your basement into a hobby room where you can spend many lonely hours playing with your train set. Some people use their basement to hide things that they do not want other people to see and others turn it into a dungeon. For many, the basement is a very underrated room in the house. Storing tools or junk in the basement is a waste of space.
