Barbecue
Anyone who is anyone loves a barbecue. Personally, I love barbecue sauce, especially on a chicken burger but the point is, we all love a barbecue. It is always great when a friend with a huge garden invites you over to get drunk and eat lots of free food cooked on their huge new barbecue. It is always best to have a barbecue on a warm summer evening as a barbecue party in the middle of winter is quite pathetic: your guests freeze, the barbecue gets rained on and all in all it will be a disastrous barbecue.

Most of the time people who have a new barbecue invite you over not because they actually like you but to show off their expensive new barbecue. That may be, but the last laugh is on these barbecue show offs as you can eat lots of their food, drink all their beer and make a royal mess in the garden…then leave the barbecue to let them clean up. Make sure that when you buy your own barbecue, you keep your barbecue gatherings to the minimum and if you are really pathetic, have your own private barbecue party.
There are many things you can cook on a barbecue but before I share my culinary expertise, I feel I should touch upon barbecue safety. We here at Everything About Houses are nothing if not barbecue safety conscious. When you have a barbecue, make sure you know how to use the barbecue. Fires are dangerous and some people cause them by careless use of the barbecue. Always have a fire extinguisher as well as a barbecue, never leave a barbecue unattended and remember, a barbecue is hot so do not use it as something to rest your head on if you get tired.
Burger, hot dogs, steaks and salmon are just a few of the foods you can cook on a barbecue. Many people think they are good barbecue chefs but most of the time their barbecue fare tastes like rubber shoes so make sure you get cooking lessons to avoid barbecue embarrassment. What are you waiting for, get that barbecue going.
